The verdict
Where this pick fits.
Ahmad Tea has blended in London since 1986, and their English Breakfast is the standard against which most grocery-store tea measures itself and falls short. Robust Assam and Ceylon in a bag that handles full-boil water, extended steeping, and milk without going bitter. One hundred bags in a box because this is daily-driver territory. No ceremony, no ceremony needed.
London-blended English Breakfast. Built for milk and no complaints. It earned its spot in our lineup by solving the stage it's supposed to solve, without pretending to solve every stage after it.
