Privacy policy.

Short version: we don't collect personal data, we don't sell anything we don't have, and the third-party requests your browser makes from this site are to Google Fonts, Google Analytics, Cloudflare's analytics beacon, and to Amazon when you click an outbound link.

What we collect

Nothing on this site asks for your name, email, or any other personal information. We don't run accounts, sign-ups, or paywalls. If we add a newsletter later, opt-in will be explicit and the form will tell you exactly what you're agreeing to.

Analytics

We use two analytics tools. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless, doesn't fingerprint, and doesn't track you across sites — it tells us aggregate pageview counts and referrers only. We also use Google Analytics 4 to measure sessions, content performance, and which pages lead to affiliate clicks. GA4 is configured with IP anonymization. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_P889LLFBNK) to distinguish unique sessions. These cookies do not contain personal information and expire after 2 years and 1 day respectively. The Cloudflare analytics beacon sets no cookies. The tag=xxxtea-20 parameter on Amazon outbound links is a URL parameter, not a cookie — it lets Amazon attribute purchases to us.

Outbound links

Every /go/<id> link on this site redirects to Amazon with our affiliate tag attached. Once you've clicked the link you're on Amazon's site under Amazon's privacy policy — read theirs at amazon.com/privacy.

Third parties

Page loads request fonts from Google Fonts, analytics from Google Analytics and Cloudflare. We do not run Meta Pixel, retargeting scripts, or any ad-tech beyond what is described above. We do not sell visitor data to any third party.

Children

This site is intended for an adult audience. We don't knowingly collect anything from anyone, but in particular we don't knowingly collect anything from children under 13.

Changes

If we change how we handle data — particularly if we add an email signup or anything ad-tech related — this page gets updated and the change history is in our public git log.
