We pressed it flat. Pulled the string until it bit. Caught the amber drop in the moment before it detached. Macro photography of tea bags, infusers, and silk mesh under the kind of light nobody wastes on a kitchen object — except us, here, today.

Spilled the tea. The bag asked for it.

A weight you can't see. Amber going somewhere.

Paddled flat. Then patient. Then poured.

A ladder run, spreading slow. The leaves are out.

Wedged between two tiles. Tagged and dripping.
Gold seam running through. Tea at the edge.
One staple through the leaf. One amber drop to the right.
Torn through. Fixed to concrete. Still dripping.
Opened and emptied. Left on the cloth. One petal stayed.
Cracked open on wet stone. Pink clip. Still bleeding.
Same stone. Same drip. Nothing resolved.
Hinge apart. Leaves already out. Still warm somewhere.
On the spoon. White linen underneath. Already marked.
Jasmine sealed inside. Ring spreading out anyway.
Left in the open page. String off the edge.
Hibiscus and leaf under black mesh. Held flat.
Split at the top. Scattered on velvet. Finished.
The ring it left. Still centered. Still warm inside.
Just above the water. String still taut. Not yet.
Suspended over the swirl. What blooms when it enters.
Held above the bowl. The string doing all the work.
Leaves on the crossing. Two black strips. Neither moving.
At the tide line. Coffee beans as witness.
Wave incoming. Tag still readable.
Fed into the gears. Amber finding the only way out.
Glass gave first. The bag held.
Lowered in. Blooming slow. The glass has no choice.
Spread across the page. Nothing printed underneath survives.
Buckled tight. Sitting in what they gave.
Pearls in the net. Dark. Dense. Not going anywhere.
Stacked and tied. Aged under pressure. Patient.
Ball laid open. Dark granite underneath. Still dripping.
Centered on the star. Marble cold. The bag does the asking.
Bit down on. The gag held. The bag didn't.
Silver buds. Cold marble. Quiet — for now.
Rolled tight. Sitting on dark wood. Crimson at the seam.
Three plumes off the same pile. Heat does what it does.
Pressed flat to cold steel. Amber pooled around the edge.
Bag won. The marble takes the difference.
Five in a row. Silk under. Hibiscus out. The last one ran.
Round bags on satin. Whatever was holding gave.
Black satin. Three pools. None of them ours to wipe.
Mesh open. Leaves out. Stone keeps the rest.
Twine net. Four amber drops at the knots. Anise underneath.
Mesh ball, leaves still green inside. Slate wet underneath.
Cake in the flame. Smoke off the disc. Years pressed into one breath.
