The verdict
Both hold one cup. The ritual is completely different.
The Tea Forte KATI is a glass vessel with a steel infuser basket — you steep in the same glass you drink from, then lift the basket onto the lid when done. One piece, no transfer, no second vessel. The OXO Steeper is a separate brewer: load the leaf, watch the color build through the borosilicate walls, then set it over your mug — the bottom valve opens on contact and drains clean. The KATI keeps everything together. The OXO separates the steep from the drink. The one you want depends on which part of the process you like watching.
Pick Tea Forte if
Brew and drink in the same glass. One piece, minimal cleanup, the full ritual at your desk.
Pick OXO Brew if
Watch the color build, then a clean transfer. You want the steep and the drink to be separate acts.
